WORKSHOP 'FAMILY CONSTELLATIONS'

This workshop is for everyone who has a family!   An interactive insight giving workshop which makes family dynamics, that what influences a family member’s behaviour possibly negatively, in a short time span visible.

You in a larger context

Family constellations (Bert Hellinger) are part of working systemically; a person being part of a system in which the different parts (here family members) influence each other. For short a person as part of a system and the system part of him.  When the family system, in the form of people, is depicted, the dynamics between the different family members and how these influence the rest of the family will become visible. 

 

The influence of the (family) system on a member

During the workshop you will see with your own eyes or experience yourself, through a few constellations, how family dynamics can work and what kind of impact these can have (often subconsciously) on a family member and her/his further life. What (subconsciously) drives a person and family conflicts of permanent nature often find their origin in the person’s family system. A person’s life theme such as not being seen or heard, not feeling at place, not being able to be themselves, etc.  often finds its origin in the person’s family system.

How does it work?

Setting up a constellation is done by placing people who represent the family members somewhere in the designated space. The representatives are able to give information and express the feelings of the person or thing they represent. Because the representatives are aware of certain things they can give useful information about their position and place in the family system. This way it is often possible to find an answer to the question one of the workshop participant has with regards to their family system.

Constellation questions

Experience shows that a two or three participants can do a constellation in this workshop, but that by seeing another person’s constellation or taking part in somebody else’s most participants come away with something that will help them to progress with their own question. During this workshop we will work, depending on the question, with the traditional family constellation mthods and/or blind constellations.

Duration: 7.30 p.m. - 10.00 p.m.

Minimum participants: 6 persons

Maximum participants: 12 persons (depending on the location)

Price: 25,- (35,-voor de those who do a question) including coffee, tea and treats.
